CleverLabs is looking for experienced RoR developers who are ready to solve complex and non-standard tasks and develop apps using the latest technologies.

About the company

CleverLabs has been developing web and mobile applications since 2015.


Main activity: long-term startups. We develop products from scratch and are part of distributed product teams.


Client Locations: the US, the UK, the EU.

About the project

Shipping management application - web and mobile applications. Shipping warehouses, selection of the best delivery service, calculation of delivery costs, insurance of shipments, generation of transport labels, shipment tracking and delivery notifications. This application is part of a distributed high-load shipping system which is also being developed by us. The company has been developing this product from scratch since March 2020.


The project is based in the USA.


TechStack:

  • Ruby: Ruby 2.7.4, Ruby on Rails 6.1.3, Sidekiq;

  • JS: Webpack, Stimulus, Turbo;

  • HotWire: Stimulus, Turbo, Strada;

  • API server: Falcon, Grape API;

  • AWS: RDS, EC2, S3, SES;

  • Database: MySQL, Redis;

  • Linters: RubyCritic, Brakeman, Guard, Rubocop, ESLint, Reek, Ruumba;

  • Tests: RSpec, Capybara;

  • CI/CD: GitLab CI;

  • Management tools: GitLab;

Responsibilities

Participation in all phases of the software development life cycle, from planning to deployment.

We expect of you

  • Solid experience in developing web applications using RoR techstack;

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • English of pre-intermediate or higher level.
